Dr. Kristen Sturdevant, PsyD

Dr. Sturdevant is a Florida licensed psychologist. Originally, from the Pacific Northwest, she graduated from the School of Professional Psychology at Pacific University in Hillsboro, Oregon, with a Doctor of Psychology in Clinical Psychology, specifically. She has experience working with a variety of different client populations in multiple modalities including individual, couple, family and group therapies ranging in age from 4-100 in various treatment settings including private outpatient, community mental health, rural and residential. She uses a strength-based, solution-focused combination of interpersonal and cognitive-behavioral based therapeutic approaches. Her specialty areas include working with clients who have co-occurring disorders including mental health and susbstance use disorders. She has a wide range of experience working with clients with everything from a mild anxiety and/or mood disorder in an outpatient setting to chronic mental illness in a residential setting. She is a Medicare Provider and Vocational Rehabilitation Services Vendor. She also takes Cigna, UnitedHealthcare, Oscar, Medicare, Humana and Blue Cross Blue/Shield insurance.
